Our Story
The Reed City Veterans Memorial Park began with a simple but powerful idea—to create a place where veterans are honored, remembered, and never forgotten.
That vision was brought to life by local veteran Russ Nehmer, whose journey of recovery and service inspired him to give back to his community in a lasting way. What started as an idea has grown into a community-driven mission to build something meaningful for Reed City and all of Osceola County.
Through dedication, persistence, and the support of local residents, businesses, and organizations, that vision is steadily becoming reality.
